Island Rec 40th Anniversary

This one is from 2000. It is the one and only time my family (King, Pam, Jennifer and Stephanie Fitch) walked the Island Rec run (back then, the Journal Run). We all crossed together hence the exact same time mark. My sister Stephanie is 7 months pregnant with her first!

Jeff, with his distinct rainbow gloves, is the only Canadian player. The game must be in his blood, because he has an innate hockey sense and is the best two-way player.

Second year player Jacob Wagner has quickly become a part of the core hockey group, and has improved by leaps and bounds. Not only is he scoring more goals hes becoming one of the strongest defensive players.

Defenseman Skip Foss is known for his physical play – he’s not someone you want to meet too often along the boards or in the corners!
