Volunteer with Island Rec

Volunteers are an integral part of Island Rec; Each year, nearly 200 volunteers contributed approximately 1,900 hours of service! Our volunteer needs change with every season. Islanders have helped teach Island Rec programs, organize the Children’s Festival, tutor children at our after-school program, and mow the fields at John O. Linde Community Park.

Each Fall we honor our volunteers and their service at our Volunteer Appreciation Night, with catered appetizers, desserts and heartfelt Thank Yous from our staff. We hope you’ll join us!
