TREC AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM – Grades 7th-12th
Hey teens!  Looking for something fun and interesting to do after school?  Stop by the High School Tech Building Rec Room for some food, friends, and fun! Every Wednesday after school from 3-5:30 pm, Island Rec will be providing free, supervised activities such as Wii, ping pong, air hockey, art projects, games, contests, and more.  Snack is provided.  Field trips and excursions TBA.  Please check the Island Rec program calendar for updates. TREC does not operate on early release days or school breaks.

FUTSAL – Grades 7th-12th
Futsal is a dynamic soccer game played indoors using a special ball that features a reduced bounce.  This is a fun, fast paced game popular world wide! Come out and play to increase your soccer skills or just for the fun of it! We are now offereing the fun of Futsal to more age groups.  For high school, a minimum of 15 participants is needed by the early fee deadline. After minimum is met, players who did not sign up for the whole season may drop-in for $8.  For 7/8th graders, a minimum of 12 participants is needed by the early fee deadline.  After minimum is met, players may drop-in for $6.  

 

High School:  FUT-f12 • Early Fee: $42, expires Dec 27, $47 thereafter

7/8th Grade:  FUTY2-f12 • Early Fee:  $25, Expires Jan 8, $30 thereafter

ROLLER HOCKEY – Ages 9-15
Roller Hockey is a co-ed drop-in program at the fair building – new players are always welcomed! You will learn new skills and improve existing ones in this organized drop-in play. Volunteer coaches are on-hand to provide instruction on individual and team skills. No Hockey on Dec 25 and Jan 1.

TEEN FLASHLIGHT EASTER EGG HUNT – Grades 7th-12th

If you thought looking for Easter eggs was kid stuff, try finding one in the dark! Grab a flashlight and come join us at this special egg hunt just for teens. There is a treat in every egg. Be the lucky one to find the Golden Egg and take home the Grand Prize! We’ll have some fun relays and gym games too. Bring a friend and join the frenzy! It’s FREE!

Refund policy: If Island Rec cancels a program you will receive a full refund. Refunds requested before the early fee deadline date (or at least 5 business days before start of program if no early fee deadline) will be subject to an 8% service fee, with a minimum of $12, max $45. No refunds after the deadline date. No refunds on trips or tours.
