SCHOOL’S OUT CAMPS! – Grades K-6
Have some fun during school breaks! Camps run 8:30 am-3:30 pm for K-6th graders, with optional extended hours until 6:00 pm (must register separately). Register for individual days or receive a discount for signing up for the whole camp! STAR Program Coordinator, Alice Hibberd is creating programs filled with fun & enriching games, arts and crafts and excursions to the swimming pool, bowling alley, parks, library, and more. A STAR Application Form is required prior to enrolling in School’s Out Camps. Supported in part by the Friday Harbor Rotary Club!
Pre-registration is required (no drop-ins), and space is limited, so sign up early!
Winter Break School’s Out Camp
• Early Fee: $25/day or $135 for 6 days, expires Nov 21, $30/day or $145 for 6 days thereafter

Mid-Winter Break School’s Out Camp
• Early Fee: $25/day or $90 for 4 days, expires Jan 31, $30/day or $100 for 4 days thereafter.

Extended hours until 6 pm are available at additional cost.
Spring Break School’s Out Camp
• Early Fee: $25/day or $113 for 5 days, expires March 14, $30/day or $123 for 5 days thereafter.

Extended hours until 6 pm are available at additional cost.
FUTSAL – Grades 5/6th
Futsal is a dynamic soccer game played indoors using a special ball that features a reduced bounce. This is a fun, fast paced game popular world wide! Come out and play to increase your soccer skills or just for the fun of it! We are now offereing the fun of Futsal to more age groups. 5/6th graders must have 12 participants by our early registration deadline. Once the minimum is met the program will have a drop-in fee of $6.

SEATTLE AQUARIUM TRIP – Ages 8-12
Octopi, salmon & otters, oh my! School’s out, so come learn about Puget Sound marine life at the Seattle Aquarium with us. Get an up-close look at shore birds, marine mammals, and fish of all kinds at the aquarium’s many fascinating exhibits. We’ll round out the day with a stroll to Pike Place Market for a treat. A minimum of 8 participants is needed by the early fee deadline. Please download the Seattle Aquarium participant info for information on what to bring. ORCAS FUNHOUSE TRIP - Ages 8-12
School’s out, so join us for a field trip to Orcas Island to visit the Funhouse Commons! This unique Children’s Discovery Center is filled with hands-on activities, brain-teasers, science exhibits, kinetic sculptures, a recording studio, and lots more. A great way to keep the imagination busy on a mid-winter Monday! Please download the Orcas Funhouse participant Info for information on what to bring.

ROLLER HOCKEY – Ages 5-8
Roller Hockey is a co-ed drop-in program at the fair building – new players are always welcomed! You will learn new skills and improve existing ones in this organized drop-in play. Volunteer coaches are on-hand to provide instruction on individual and team skills. Buy a season pass and save money! No Hockey on Dec 25 and Jan 1.

Refund policy: If Island Rec cancels a program you will receive a full refund. Refunds requested before the early fee deadline date (or at least 5 business days before start of program if no early fee deadline) will be subject to an 8% service fee, with a minimum of $12, max $45. No refunds after the deadline date. No refunds on trips or tours.
