Volunteers
Volunteers are an integral part of Island Rec. Volunteers contribute nearly 2,000 hours of service each year!
Our volunteer needs change with every season.
Currently we are need the following volunteers:
- Children’s Festival Committee Members
We are looking for people to serve on the planning committee for the San Juan Island Children’s Festival, the second largest island event, second only to the County Fair. No special skills are needed only the willingness and time to work as a team committed to creating a fun filled festival dedicated to celebrating children. With the exception of the festival day itself, committee members volunteer roughly 6-8 hours per months beginning in January. - Office Volunteer
Island Rec is in need of a volunteer interested in assisting with office/administrative tasks on a regular basis; either weekly or every other week. Please contact Heidi, Administrative Assistant, at 378-4953 for more information, or email admin@islandrec.org
