Skatepark
The Skatepark is located on Argyle Avenue at San Juan County Fairgrounds.
- Park hours are from 8:00 a.m. until dusk.
- Use at your own risk.
- Helmets and pads are recommended.
- When skaters and bikers are present other uses of the park are prohibited.
- Children should be supervised by an adult.
- Please NO PETS, NO SMOKING, NO ALCOHOL
- Illegal, obnoxious or abusive behavior can result in citation, ejection or closing this facility.
The new quarter pipe at the Skate Park is now open! For the 2011-2012 Junior community projects class, Will Kromer, Jacob Jackson and Tk Kromer planned the addition of a cement quarter pipe to a section of the skate park. The quarter pipe is twenty feet long, three and a half feet tall and located in the corner of the new skate park area closest to the parking lot and the family park. The cooperation of Island Rec, The SJC Fair, The Gates Foundation, The Family Resource Center and contributing parents has made this possible.
