Island Rec celebrating 25 years of People, Parks and Programs 1984-2009 At the November General Election Island Rec will be asking voters to approve a 17 cent levy to continue Island Rec's programs, parks and services and to fund the school sports program. 2009 Chalk It Up! A sidewalk chalk contest for all ages.
Join us as we once again transform the courthouse sidewalk into a colorful display of chalky masterpieses. We will supply you with the chalk, all you need to bring is your creativity! Prizes will be given out for; chalkiest, most creative, and most colorful. DATE: Saturday, July 18th TIME: 10:30-2:00 LOCATION: Front of Courthouse AGES: All! COST: FREE!
Island Rec Office Open weekdays 1pm -5pm 360-378-4953 BOARD MEETINGS: Board meetings are regularly scheduled at 5 pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at Island Rec's office at 580 Guard Street.
