Kayaking for Teens – June 17th

Living on an island we have the sea as our backyard! Paddling is a great way to take it all in and explore marine life in the kelp beds and inter-tidal zones. Participants will visit a nearby island.  Sponsored and guided by San Juan Outfitters. $46, ages 12-15.

Camp Aquanaut: June 17-20

Aquanauts ages 8-12 are sure to enjoy this water-themed day camp! Be “immersed” in exploration and recreation at local lakes, pools, and shorelines. We’ll search intertidal zones, frolic at favorite beaches, tour the Whale Museum, and visit Parks to experience more of the great watery world! 8:30am – 3:30pm, $110. Scholarships are available!

Hanging Flower Basket Class – June 8

Learn to make a 16″ hanging flower basket, filled with colorful, sun-loving annuals! Roche Harbor’s Head Gardener, Alana Dunn, is leading a moss basket planting workshop! All supplies included. For ages 16+, $65.

Children’s Festival – May 4th – FREE!

Kids can participate in hands-on science and engineering projects with the Imagine Children’s Museum, and help construct a large geodesic dome and cardboard box town with David Waldron…and more!
