Youth Day Camps

Island Rec is delighted to offer these all-day youth camps! Participants must have a current STAR application or 2013 Camp Eagle Rock application on file before registering. Camp AQUANAUT – Ages 6 – 12  NEW!
Campers will be immersed in exploration and recreation at local lakes and shorelines. We’ll go swimming, fishing, and boating to hone our water-savvy skills. We’ll search for marine life in intertidal zones, frolic in the surf at favorite beaches, tour the Whale Museum, and visit State & National Parks. A minimum of 8 participants is needed by the early fee deadline. Meet at Tech Building at FHHS.

Camp FAIR Weather – Ages 8 – 12  NEW!
Hooray for the San Juan County Fair and the hey-day of summer season! Participants will create a project to enter in the Fair, where we’ll rub noses with critters in the livestock barns, watch horses strut their stuff in the equestrian arena, take part in 4-H programs, and participate in activities in the Children’s Zone. We’ll also spend a fair amount of time on amusement rides & carnival games! A minimum of 8 participants is needed by the early fee deadline.

CAMP EAGLE ROCK – 7 Weekly Sessions – Ages 6 – 12
Camp Eagle Rock is a fun, summer day camp designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment that promotes self-esteem, increases learning skills and provides the opportunity for children to develop a variety of life-long interests. Campers will participate in activities within their assigned group and in all camp-wide activities. All groups make use of playgrounds, parks and other community venues within walking distance of the school. Weekly program consists of arts, crafts, games, sports, music, field trips, creative play and swimming. Sign up by the week, or for all seven! Camp hours are 8:30am – 3:30pm Extended hours until 5:30pm are available for additional cost.
